Overview

Baseline Fauna & Flora assessments are part of a process where a survey is done of an area, site or habitat to determine the specific animal and plant species found there.

A list is compiled identifying individual species to assess the biological diversity of the area assessed. This list can be used as the first step in doing an environmental impact assessment which in turn is a prerequisite for setting up an environmental management plan.

To gain a better understanding of how to manage an area, site or habitat, Monteviro provides clients with a multi-disciplinary approach to the identification, understanding and management of natural resources and social environments.
